Welcome to Speaking of Kids!

Thanks for stopping by! I'm Michelle. I'm a mom of two boys and a speech-language pathologist. I graduated from Utah State University in 2009. Right now I work in the schools and do some private practice as well. Whether you're a fellow parent or speech therapist, I am hoping that you find this blog thought-provoking, interesting, and helpful. My posts mostly consist of ways to enhance a child's language, whether by books or crafts or games. I also like to post about hearing loss, the basics of speech and language, normal development, and other speech-related words such as 'fricative', 'uvula' or 'affricate'. If that doesn't pull you in, I don't know what will!
